Question for the AU officer candidates and the Activities officer candidates, how do you propose to find suitable space for the clubs and societies that currently have storage in the Archaeology building? How many of these clubs and societies do you know that are housed there and do you know of any of their specific needs?

What would you do for postgraduates, given they make up 25% of the student population?

How do the AU Candidates feel about the potential cutting of lower teams such as 4ths and 5ths if the structure of the AU is changed in favour of the Sports hall being in charge? Do they feel cutting teams is beneficial or detrimental? If so why?

Welfare issues are often very private. How would you make sure students felt comfortable approaching you, especially considering the Welfare Officer sits in such a big and open office?

To the DemComms candidates - there's been a lot of talk about getting rid of the position you're campaigning for. The 'No' campaign during the "Big Ask" didn't contest that they thought Democracy and Communications was something that could be handled by a non-elected officer. Frankly, that shocked and disappointed me. I agree that the role has largely become operational, and that we don't need elected officials to organise SU elections. But is that what the DemComms officer role should be about? Will you try to justify your existence in a way that neither side of the Big Ask debate did? And if so, how? What should Democracy and Communications be about?
