Here at URN we want to represent the diverse and talented student body at the University of Nottingham and always welcome more students to join the station.
You can get involved with URN as a presenter, producer or reporter and you’ll get all the training you need to make it on-air. Many of us had never done radio before we joined URN, so don’t worry!
Over the last year, we’ve interviewed some big names, from Jeremy Corbyn and Jeff Stelling to The Vaccines and The Fratellis. We’ve commentated live from the home of the oldest professional football club in the world, Notts County. We’ve covered some of the biggest news from Brexit to alleged corruption within our SU. We released a Feminist Podcast that was featured worldwide, including on The Huffington Post. And on top of that, we’ve had a series of amazing socials. If any of this sounds like something you might be interested in, then have a read of this breakdown of the different parts of the station.
