Impact: The Nottingham Campaign

19th October 2011

Impact, a campaign to raise £150m for a wide range of development projects has been officially launched here at Nottingham University.

The campaign will span five years. It aims to help a huge variety of different causes. This will be split into five key sections: The Nottingham Experience, Health and Well-Being, Nurturing Talent, Ingenuity and Sustainable Futures. Yesterday, we spoke to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Greenaway to find out more about these five areas of interest.

With such an mix of projects being helped by the Impact campaign, we asked how the team went about deciding which causes to support.

The money is to be raised with a combination of charitable donations from alumni and various fundraising activities. But we wanted to find out how you can get involved. We sent Pulse reporter Genie out to find out how aware students are of the campaign.

So remember, if you have any ideas for the campaign or want to get involved in some way, contact simon.buttenshaw@nottingham.ac.uk.
