Australian Open Tennis, Cricket, Football Transfers and the Capital One Cup

This week Gaffers is joined by Jack, Rob and David who begin by previewing Varsity which is just around the corner before looking at the Australian Open Tennis. Andy Murray plays Roger Federer in one Semi-Final to decide who plays reigning champion Novak Djokovic in the final.

Next the boys look at the female draw of the Australian Open and how two major favourites have been knocked out. Azarenka now a favourite as Sharapova and Serena crash out. Also Jack, the newest ambassador for the Burkina Faso National Football Team, gives his views on England’s Cricket Performance against India and their 3-1 loss.

The January Transfer Window is well under way and plenty going on. Rob gives his view on Newcastle’s French Revolution with four new players arriving from Ligue 1. David shows his hatred for Alan Pardew and all the other potential moves that could occur in the next 7 days.

Finally the Capital One Cup action is reviewed with two massive Cup-sets with Swansea now set to meet Bradford at Wembley in the final. Of course the boys look at the ‘Hazardous’ nature of being a ball boy at the Liberty Stadium. Finally David gives his view on Arsenal’s current form after beating West Ham 5-1 at the Emirates.
