Ryder Cup, Verstappen, and Pardew on the brink?

On the first Tuesday show of the new semester, Simon was joined by Elliott, Jack and Ollie to discuss the latest stories dominating the world of sport.

First up was Europe’s success in the Ryder Cup. Up for discussion was the lack of harmony in the USA’s squad.

Next up the guys turned to boxing and dissected Paul Smith’s defeat by Arthur Abraham.

Max Verstappen will become the youngest ever driver to participate at an F1 grand prix weekend during Friday’s first practice in Japan. The panel discussed the up-and-coming driver as well whether the championship is now Lewis Hamilton’s to lose.

In football, Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is under increasing pressure as the club lie bottom of the Premier League table. While Ollie said that Pardew was not a bad manager, Elliott claimed that the Magpies’ boss has no plan b.
