Stuart Pearce at URN

28th October 2014

Nottingham Forest manager and England legend Stuart Pearce dropped into URN’s studios this week during a visit to the University of Nottingham.

“Psycho”, as he’s also as known by fans, won 78 caps for England and his managerial role at the City Ground follows spells in charge of Manchester City and the England national under-21 team.

Chatting to Sports Editor Patrick Hildred, Pearce discussed Forest’s start to the season, the controversial sale of Jamaal Lascelles and Karl Darlow in the summer, and the discontinuation of the Team GB men’s football team which he managed at London 2012.

The 52-year-old also said that the University of Nottingham puts “heart and soul” into the city of Nottingham.
