Blatter resigns, Arsenal’s FA Cup win and Murray makes French Open quarters

2nd June 2015

This week Jack was joined by David, Ollie and Amar. Just before going on air, Sepp Blatter announced that he will resign as Fifa President after 17 years in the role. It follows his re-election last week just two days after seven top Fifa officials were arrested on charges of corruption.

The next topic was Arsenal’s 4-0 FA Cup final win over Aston Villa. It was the Gunners’ record 12th FA Cup win.

Also up for discussion was England’s defeat in the second test against New Zealand at Headingley, meaning the series has ended 1-1.

Finally, the panel commented on Andy Murray’s progression into the quarter-finals of the French Open at Roland Garros.
