Bollywood Valentines Special

The show on Sat 13th was the perfect opportunity for us to showcase what bollywood music is truly about, especially with it being a valentines special.
The majority bollywood music is based around the 'love theme' and there have truly been some great tracks over the times..Check out the playlist for the show from Sat 13th which included some of our favourite bollywood love songs.

Also you can check out the video from our personal favourite bollywood love song below from the movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, its called 'Tujhe dekha to ye jana sanam'. The movie featuring one of the best bollywood on screen pairings being Sharukh Khan and Kajol.

Additionally with the theme being bollywood love songs, the audience were very active with requests and some songs that even we hadnt heard in a long time, most notably one from 1942 A love story, called 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To', check out the video below, classic bollywood!

Deborah 'Debri' Stevenson co-hosts DJ Em's show on URN; A student @ Notts Uni & a young poet who's got so many plans, she talks about her life as a poet and even reverses roles to interview the DJ. She ends the show with one of her awesome poems.
