So over the holidays Jack got a bit carried away watching videos on the interweb, and came across an amazing band by the name of Cimorelli. Last night we decided we were going to get in contact with them - and we did - and we played their new song (released december 5th) on our show. We believe we are the first to officially do this in the UK, and as you can see below, we got a good response from playing it!

The Vaccines

Today we played Jack's Interview with The Vaccines. We found out the answer to some general questions about the band, why they are called The Vaccines, "music or lyrics first?" and the answers to some student questions such as "which take away?"

Because of this interview we didn't have enough time to play 2FOS, so instead we started a new feature based around Jack's Interview, which involved me interviewing Jack. However, Jack wasn't Jack. He was someone else and You, the listener, had to guess who he was. Jenna correctly guessed he was Rob Brydon, and you can listen to that below.

So today we started a new feature called "Tweet Me Up Before You Go-Go" where we try and get in touch with a famous person on twitter. Jack decided we would try and contact Greg James, but he wasn't biting the bait. Then we had a text in to Get Keith Lemon (aka, Leigh Francis), and believe it or not he replied! Here is the proof:

We also had our 2FOS (2 Fools one Studio) again, and this week was a draw! Jack had a text in after the deadline and got quite uppity about it, but the rules are the rules, so this week was a draw. The total score so far is 3-3.

As Jack announced today as well, he is off to Sheffield (Right now actually)to interview The Vaccines. That interview will be played to you next Wednesday morning so stay tuned for that!

Well the issue that the 'guest' headphones are too quiet was definitely fixed as they were so loud! Jack got a bit of a shock when we did our 9 o'clock shift.

As the title implies we did have a live twitter feed running through out the show, which worked well! We got some more twitter interaction and generated a new feature out of it! From next week we want you guys to text in a celebrity we should 'harass' on twitter for two hours and try and get them to reply to us within the two hours!
