Another eventful show went down a hit. We introduced some new features and had a right laugh as per. Jack was back this week, which was such a relief as I found it so hard to present by myself.

2 Fools One Studio was won by Jack this week (obvious cheating), so that puts the scores 2:1 to me. Remember whoever loses at the end of the year will have to sing live, so don't forget you could do a bit of tactical voting so the best singer loses if you don't want to ruin your ear drums. I introduced a new game - " I want to Play a Game ". Where I play a clip from a film, TV program or a clip from a short clip from somewhere, that if you woke up in the middle of the night (in the dark) you would poo yourself. It's one of the stranger features I know, but it really gets you thinking about how in different situations the mind takes different things and displays different emotions! With out getting too deep this week's clip was the THX tune which Jack guessed correctly. We'll be playing this every week.

So today's show had a bit of a twist in it.. it was only Wake Up With Matt (and Giles for a bit)! Jack is in Amsterdam this week meaning I was left to do the show by myself. Jack recorded some messages for me to play throughout the show (which, by the way, you can listen to via our podcast page) which made it feel a little more homely, however it just wasn't the same.

Giles kept the banter going with me, however, for the first 45 minutes - but as you will tell it was a little harder for me to do it by myself. I take my hat off to anyone who does a show by themselves as it is genuinely nerve-racking and quite hard!

2 Fools One Studio went down a treat again this week, and I won with 'Hungry 18'. We were asked to make them shorter and less chipmunk-esq so that's what we did! You can listen to them below, or listen to the podcast!

Girl's Ruined My Night

Yesterday Morning (Wednesday 26th October 2011) Jack and I released our first parodies to the world. This is of course because of our brand new feature entitled : "2 Fools One Studio".

Every week we will both write a parody to a well known song and play them live on air for you to hear. We then ask you to text in with "vote matt" or "vote jack" depending on who you thought wrote the best parody. We will be keeping a running tally as to who wins each week, and at the end of the year the loser will have to sing, live on air, a song of the victor's choice. Jack said that we would get all of URN to come and listen and watch in the studio - however I think this is a little unrealistic.

I (matt), of course, won this week's 2FOS with KFC and you can listen to both our parodies below (and/or download them as a podcast if you so wish!)
