Johnny “Sticky” Budden a Nottingham boy is freerunning from John O’Groats to Paris! Sticky aims to put his skills to the test when he embarks on this 1,000-mile journey!

The next stage in CRY Charity Varsity 2010 is upon us with Varsity Swimming taking place on Wednesday 24th Feb at Uni Pool. After the URN Sport Team caught up with them earlier this week it seems that Uni should dominate the pool!

URN Sports were lucky enough to catch up with the hidden gems of the Varsity series – they appear at nearly all the events and perform incredible stunts for our entertainment – they are of course the Nottingham Knights cheerleaders!

Since the explosion of Usain Bolt onto the professional Athletics circuit there’s no doubt that the sport has been in the ascendance. It was on the back of this that I made the short trip over to Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena to watch the latest instalment in the sport’s calendar – the UK Indoor Grand Prix.

The Trent FM Arena in Nottingham played host again to Varsity Ice Hockey, the sixth of its kind and the largest Varsity outside of America. After Uni’s dominance in last year’s 6-1 victory, was this year going to be the year of Trent’s revival?
