DJ Em:
We had you live in the studios earlier this year, sometime in January, where we gave some of the listeners some sort of introduction to Yolanda Brown, for those who didn’t know about you already. What have you been up to since then?
Yolanda:
Since January it’s been a very creative time, I’ve been locked away writing for the new album, playing around and also getting ready for this concert on November 19th which I’m really excited about.
DJ Em:
The year’s almost over, from the endorsements, to the newspaper features, the touring, you have your concert coming up, what’s been your best bit of 2010?
Yolanda:
Definitely, the endorsements, Yamaha, surprisingly around my birthday time. It’s been nice to have this time to write and to express myself; last year was so busy with the touring, with the Temptations and Errol Brown, it was really really busy, so it’s nice to actually take some time and really get back down to almost the nitty gritty of what it all is you know, making music, which has been great and then obviously towards the end of the year, I always love my own concerts. It might sound selfish but being able to be on the stage for two hours and communicate with the audience really, there’s nothing better than that you know, so that’s really exciting also.

Last October, I got a feel of what it is like to be even more popular, on national radio. Not that I'm not appreciative of the thousand of listeners available to me on URN, but come on, the BBC's millions made me feel that extra special.. If you missed my 1500seconds of fame, that's 25minutes live in the mix on national radio and want to hear it again, add me on facebook, facebook.com/trustthedjem.
