The Big Picture Niqab Special

In this edition of the Big Picture, David returns to the chair to bring you a special episode, in association with UoN Feminists, and examining the Niqab. The panel - comprising representatives from the Islamic Society, Debating Union, UoN Feminists, and the SU's BME Officer - answered questions on the Niqab in public places, in the classroom, and as a practice in the eyes of liberalism, democracy and feminism. We received a record number of texts, so we know that this is a controversial topic, and we hope you'll listen in and add your own opinion to the mix!

The next Big Picture will be broadcast on December 11th 2013.
