The Saturday Sport Show saw Gaffers, Simon, Luke, Chris and Andy discuss this weekends sporting action. During the show, the big East Midlands derby between Nottingham and Leicester was taking place. We then moved on to talk about the ATP tennis taking place in London and Andy Murray's chances. Also the legend that Roger Federer is disscused and his longevity in the sport. Next up, a discussion about the rugby autumn internation with Ireland playing South Africa this weekend.

We felt it important to discuss the issue on the show and spread publicity in the hope that it will lead to increased awareness and action before the tournament. Notts County Community Day a Massive Success

Thursday 15th June saw Notts County FC hosting schools, youth football teams and charities from all over Nottinghamshire for a day of fun and activities at Meadow Lane stadium as part of the club's 150th anniversary celebrations. Under the guidance of current coaching staff and former club legends, over 1,500 children took part in a variety of games, quizzes and competitions in and around the stadium, and got the chance to emulate their footballing heroes on the pitch itself.
UNI V TRENT: How the seasons compare

The Uni of Nottingham 1sts have been competing in the Premier North BUCS competition all year whilst Trent have been battling it out in the Midlands 1A , the league below the Premier North.
Trent finished second of their group, behind leaders Loughborough, with 24 points. They will therefore be in the same division again next year but will be viewed upon as favourites for promotion.
Trent won 8 of their 10 games, losing to Loughborough and Leeds Metropolitan away from home.

Uni of Nottingham’s 1st’s had a more indifferent year, finishing 4th but narrowly missing out on relegation. They finished the season with 7 points out of a possible 24. Winner Durham finished top with maximum points. Uni’s victories came at home against Sheffield and Oxford University.
