The Big Picture Podcast - Nigel Farage on Romanians, Pfizer's bid for Astrazeneca and Labour on the minimum wage.

This week's Big Picture was chaired by Seb with David, Zoe and Matt on the panel. They discussed Nigel Farage's interview with LBC about immigration, particularly his comments about how people would feel if a group of Romanian men moved in next door, as well as UKIP's wider policies and chances in the EU and local council elections. They also discussed the bid by US company Pfizer to take over the British firm Astrazeneca and Ed Miliband's pledge to raise Britain's minimum wage if Labour win the next general election.

The Big Picture 9th October 2013 - Party Political Conferences and Banning Lads' Mags

On this week's Big Picture, Matt is in the chair, putting questions to a panel on the summer's party political conferences, particularly those of the Conservative and Labour Parties. They also discuss the SU Shop's decision to ban lads' magazines such as Nuts and Zoo, in the light of various UK SUs' decisions to ban the controversial Robin Thicke song, 'Blurred Lines', from all Union premises (currently the UoNSU is being lobbied to follow suit, but has not reached a decision at time of the show).
