BETTER HOPPER BUSES – improve reliability & make sure there’s enough space at busy times.
BETTER INTERNET IN HALLS – improve speeds and reliability, particularly for off-campus halls.
CHEAPER NIGHT BUSES – encourage local providers to reduce the cost of their late night fares.
INCREASE STUDENT VOTER TURNOUT – for elections in 2015 to build student power.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS – better support and integration for arriving students.
LANDLORD AWARDS – to reward and incentivise good practice.
MEAL CARD CREDIT ROLLOVER – campaign to roll over your remaining credit.
PRINTERS FOR HALLS – so you don’t have to go to the library every time.
RATE YOUR LETTING AGENT – based on a survey of your experiences & work to publish the results.
STATION ROAD – work with and support the campaign to make it safer for SB students.
STREET REPS – representing your views about where you live and to help you meet your neighbours.
STUDENT SPACE OFF-CAMPUS – investigate the possibility of getting some space in Lenton.
• Founded Community Reps in the SU – a student-led group that finds out your views and creates positive change in the community in Nottingham.
• Lead a big community doorstep survey in Lenton in 2013 – asking students & non-students about their local problems and community cohesion.
• Founded Street Reps this year – students to represent your street and provide advice on housing and the local community.
• Leading a project on Lenton Boulevard to find out what shops students would like to see on the street.
• Organised a local Community meeting for Lenton in January.
