Hey, I’m Chloe and I am a final year Management Studies student. I’m running for this position because I have the ideas and drive to make University a safer, happier and better place for students. Please take a look at my policies and feel free to come and talk to me around campus!
Making Safety Better
- 24 hour exam hopper bus with added stop on Derby Road
- Improved lighting on Station Road, Triumph Road and the Downs
- Introduce ‘Safety Bus’ for students after nights out
- All campuses to improve disability access
Making Support for Sports/Society Members Better
- Lobby the University to review its gym membership offer
- Lecture recordings for better accessibility and easier involvement in sport
- Equal opportunities for society engagement for Medics, Nurses, Midwives, and Physios
- Increase welfare support with a welfare rep for every society
Making Sexual and Mental Health Support Better
- Arrange monthly talks from Police & Health Staff at ever y hall
- Regain funding for Cinema tickets with STI testing
- Support to make the transition into and out of University easier
- More Welfare workshops tailored to Off-campus halls
Making Your Course Better
- Lobby to reduce hidden course costs
- Introduce a peer mentoring scheme on every course
- Closer, continuous contact with course welfare reps
